Author and Presenter: “The Challenge of Representing Community: Designing Content in Radio Sagarmatha and Community Radio Madanpokhara.”

Conducted research on the importance of community radio stations in Nepal and the differences between creating content in urban and rural settings. Spoke with over 15 Nepali professionals to gain first-hand knowledge of station operations and data collection methods. Research was highlighted by Hope College in the spring newsletter and was presented in front of Hope College faculty in the spring of 2016. Access it here.

In this video I created for a class at MIIS, I discuss the history of white saviorism, what it look like, the CBO No White Saviors, and how International Educators can address it through concrete examples.
